Terence Rogers - Chef & Owner
Terence Rogers is the chef and founder behind Third Floor Gourmet and the TBD Foods family. His culinary journey began in 2011, with a resume as diverse as the flavors he now creates — from slinging pizzas in Vermont and crafting sandwiches on food trucks in Boston and Denver, to plating refined, farm-to-table dishes in some of the top kitchens in Boston, New York, and Denver under award-winning chefs.
But food wasn’t always the plan.
Terence studied economics at Bridgewater State University outside Boston. It wasn’t until a senior-year business class — and a food truck business plan — that the idea of a culinary career started to take shape. After graduating, he moved to Vermont to chase powder days and stumbled into a job at a local pizza shop. One interview (and one beer) later, he was on the line — and instantly hooked on the energy, creativity, and beautiful chaos of the kitchen.
Years of cooking, experimenting, and the occasional post-shift joint sparked a new idea: what if cannabis-infused food could go beyond gummies and chocolates? What if it could be gourmet?
From that vision — and maybe a few canna-lattes along the way — Third Floor Gourmet was born. A brand built to elevate infused cooking, and help chefs and home cooks alike bring something just a little more special* to the table.
